This Remediation service was developed to offer our customers a "Green", Non-toxic, Guaranteed, and EFFECTIVE alternative to many other under educated or poorly trained abatement companies. You see, Mold Remediation is a very different mitigation then asbestos, radon, and Drug-Lab clean-up. Mold is a living, breathing, reproducing organism that has a complete life cycle and even natural defenses to protect itself! Please understand the reason a Professional Remediation company is necessary is because when mold senses its under attack (I.E. Spraying something lethal on it or ripping down the board on which it lives) it does something called sporalation whereas it releases mycotoxins (what make you cough or sneeze) and spore (mold seed) into the air to attempt defend itself and reproduce as quickly as possible.

So here's the how and why of Mold Solutions Permanently effective Remediation process.

•         Containment- to keep the rest of the house safe.

•          Negative Air Pressure with HEPA filtration.

•          Fungicidal & sporicidal disinfectant- to neutralize all accessible living mold.

•          Debris removal- make sure all damaged materials are properly disposed of.

•          Ozonation- to kill any spore left behind in inaccessible areas, crevices, etc.

•          HEPA Vac- Vacuum contaminated areas.

•          Mold Inhibitor- to kills the fungal roots left in wood and prevent Mold from ever growing back. GUARANTEED.

A containment must be established before remediation can begin this is done by sealing off the contaminated area and setting up negative air pressure. Negative air pressure means there is more air entering the area then leaving it. This is done by a machine that sucks air through a HEPA filter (about 6 inches thick!) to grab any microbe in the air then exhaust clean air to a designated area. When set-up properly negative air machines clean all the air in a containment many times per minute. 

Mold Solutions then applies its disinfectant to all areas where visible & suspected mold is present. Our disinfectant is fungicidal, sporicidal, and even bactericidal & viracidal. Meaning it not only neutralizes fungus and spore (mold seed) but also kills any bacteria or virus that may be present in these areas!

Then our Trained Remediation Team will begin a precise deconstruction of the Mold Damaged materials while being careful to note any area of potential hidden contamination. During this Debris Removal process porous materials will be bagged and sealed in preparation for proper disposal. All unaffected areas will be cleaned and maintained insuring an easier renovation.

Once all damaged materials are removed, we begin a process called ozonation where machines that produce Ozone (O3) are set-up and ran for a predetermined amount of time. Ozone is a gas that is similar to hydrogen peroxide being that it has an extra molecule of oxygen that breaks off to kill present fungus, spore, and also bacterial & viral infections! This process will Gas-Out any mold spore (Bugs & Odor too!) that can be trapped in crevices and cavities that cannot be reached with a high pressure spray application. Its also a non-toxic or green application because once the property is allowed to air out or exhaust for a few minutes its deactivated and becomes pure oxygen!

The next step is the Application of our MOLD INHIBITOR. This is the most important step that most other Mold Remediation companies miss! The Mold Inhibitor we use is based of a Non-Toxic mineral salt that that is applied to the wood (framing, sheathing, subfloor etc.) and actually penetrates the surface to kills the roots of the fungus that was growing there. This Inhibitor deposits itself into the wood beyond the point mold can grow and prevents it from ever being able to grow back! Without this inhibitor the mold can grow right back the way weeds do when cut down with a weed whacker and not pulled from the root. As a bonus the Inhibitor also will prevent termites, carpenter ants and other wood decaying insects!

We finish with a final clean-up and extensive inspection of the Remediation area to be sure all problems have been eliminated and the site is prepared for any future renovation.

A final inspection or clearance report can then be provided to the customer with warranty information included.
